reviews symbol (4)(LAKEWOOD RANCH)- Twenty-five years ago, six people were sitting on a couch talking about their lives. I don’t think anyone would have guessed that this was going to be the start of a TV phenomenon that would keep us laughing for decades.

For the next 10 years and over 200 episodes, people watched the lives of “Friends” Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler, and Joey. Now twenty-five years later these friendships are still touching the hearts of all their loyal viewers.

So loyal that over 90,000 of them signed an online petition to keep the show on Netflix. Junior Csenge Csicsek says, “This show has been with me for years and I don’t think I can imagine my life without it.”

For years “Friends” was the highest rated comedy show.

The show is celebrating its anniversary with a book tour around the UK call #FRIENDSFEST to promote their book “I’ll Be There for You,” a look at the history and the making of friends.

The book promises a look at the origins of the show, interviews of the numerous high-profile guest stars and, of course, the cast members’ favorite memories and episodes from the show. Plus, it will explore the show’s afterlife and why it continues to appeal to people too young to have watched it the first time around.

The show has been there for us and hopefully be there for another twenty-five years, always reminding us of a time in our lives when your friends are your family.
