(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Noah Frantz is coming back to LRHS after 4 years in retirement to coach the LRHS golf team for the 2019 season and the seasons following.

Frantz said, “I started the golf program 20 years ago and I felt that coming back would help to do some good for the team.”

Frantz said, “I want to make a big change to how the players are taught. I want to do more hands-on coaching where I will be the main teacher.”

Frantz was an origainal Mustang, one of the school’s staff members when LRHS opened in 1998.  He taught social studies and specialized in Advanced Placement Psychology.  His golf teams won three straight state titles from 2011-13.  In 2013 he was inducted into the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) hall of fame.

Frantz started the golf program in 1999 and stepped down as head coach in 2014.  At the time he said he wanted to devote more time to his family.  He retired from LRHS in 2018.

Frantz will replace John Victor who was the coach from 2015-18 and is stepping down for personal reasons.
