(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Thursday was the LRHS Senior Dinner in the cafeteria. The dinner was one last night for the senior to say their final goodbyes to the school and their classmates.

The dinner was a semi-formal, black-and-white themed event catered by Texas Roadhouse.

Outgoing senior class president Jules Catena said, “I had an excellent time and I am very thankful for all the juniors that helped put this event together.”

Catena also stated, “When I was a junior, I helped put the event together so being there last night made me a little emotional and had me reminiscing about the times I wanted to be a senior.”

Juniors applying to be on next year’s Senior Advisory Board (SAB) hosted and served the senior dinner.

Junior Claudia Estevez explained what it was like to set up the event for SAB, “Our job was to make the decorations, bring in the food, serve the food, we took down the decorations when it was over, cleaned all the dishes, and put away the leftovers.”

Photo booth stations were around the cafeteria to help seniors get pictures that will help them remember the night.

Senior Dee Evans said, “I really enjoyed the dinner and thought it was a good way to say goodbye before college.”
