Medically inclined Mustangs elect new leaders

Nicolette Ngov – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – This week LRHS Future Health Professionals (HOSA) elected their new 2019-2020 officers.

Each candidate had to prepare a two-minute speech to present to club members. After all the candidates for each office presented their speeches, members voted for the person they thought best for the office.

The newly elected officers include –

  • Student Director: Junior Kelsey Le
  • President: Junior Nicolette Ngov
  • President-Elect: Freshman Julia Felice
  • Vice President: Junior Cameron Willis
  • Secretaries: Junior Gabriella Vazquez and Kara Smith
  • Treasurer: Junior Jason Breiner
  • Parliamentarian: Freshman Maya Rengifo
  • Historian: Freshman Anastasia Jenkins

Willis, who was thrilled to win vice-presidency added, “I’m so excited to serve as vice-president. I think being a previous officer has prepared me to run efficiently and productively. I can’t wait to work with the new officer team!”
