LRHS National Honor Society inducts over 100 new members

The 2018-19 LRHS NHS officers welcome new members.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Friday, April 12, the LRHS National Honor Society (NHS) inducted new members.

Assistant Principal Dr. Melinda Lundy and discipline dean Susan O’Brien spoke at the induction, congratulating all members for their dedication and wishing for them to continue working on their leadership development, motivation, and inspiration skills.

“It was a very special evening for our new members” stated junior parliamentarian Manoela Dos Santos, “I am glad I could take part in this special event.”

Junior Chris Georgas was a recent inductee at the ceremony, “It’s really exciting for me to become a part of such a prestigious organization, the ceremony was thrilling, and the dinner was phenomenal.”

Following the ceremony, the inductees and their families were served a pasta dinner as well as cookie cake celebrating their achievements.

New NHS members will have the chance to run for officer elections this upcoming week.
