Seniors icon(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS senior countdown continues this week. As our last month of high school began, we started the week with our last senior meeting on Monday.

At the meeting seniors were reminded to pay their seniors fees, which are now $40. This money is due as soon as possible and should paid to senior advisor Ann Fleury’s room, 572.

During the meeting, Fleury discussed the protocol for receiving extra graduation tickets. Those students who would like to request extra tickets should go to Fleury’s room and request them or email her.

Senior Tanna Cochrane said, “After the meeting I was a little stressed but very excited to know we will be graduating soon.”

Seniors should also take note that the annual senior dinner will be on Thursday, May 2. The dinner is a black and white event, so students should dress accordingly. “Texas Roadhouse” will be catering, and tickets should be going out to seniors soon; this is a free event.

Senior Sarah Merzak shared, “I’m excited about the senior dinner to celebrate one last time before graduation.”

Before cap and gown pick up on May 16, seniors need to contact the bookkeeper to pay off any debt they have. Even if students without debt need to visit the bookkeeper to get pink cards saying they are debt free.

A pink card from bookkeeping is required to collect graduation tickets and caps and gowns. Dates to see bookkeeping will be posted shortly.

Merzak shared, “I’m excited about the senior dinner to celebrate one last time before graduation.”
