Senior Drew Mitts scored his first left-handed goal.  He said speed was the key to success.

“I picked up the ground ball and shot it with all I had in the blink of an eye,” he said.

The Mustangs finished the season 11-4 record and placed fourth in the district.

“It was a great final season and we have to stay ready for playoffs,” said senior midfielder Jayden Carter.

Lakewood Ranch faces the number one seed, the Cardinal Mooney Cougars, next Tuesday, April 16 and hope to advance to district finals. Time and location are to be determined.
