nhs logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS’s National Honor Society (NHS) is holding its annual induction ceremony Friday, April 12. New members are required to attend the induction ceremony to make their membership official.

Inductees are required to show up at 4 p.m. to prepare for the ceremony; the actual ceremony begins at 5 p.m.

“It is so important to show up on time. The ceremony cannot run smoothly if people are running late,” said junior parliamentarian Manoela Dos Santos.

Following the ceremony, the inductees and their families will be served a pasta dinner.

Sophomore Shea Murphy is excited for the induction, “I am looking forward to the induction ceremony and what next year has in store for NHS.”
