(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS boys lacrosse fell short on their senior night against the Issaquah Eagles 17-9.

“We’ve just got to keep our heads up and look forward to the next game,” said sophomore defensive captain Jacob Wolf.

Issaquah travelled from Washington state for the game. LRHS junior defenseman Landon Andersen and senior attackman Colby Andersen used to attend Issaquah High School and arranged the game.

At halftime, LRHS seniors walked with their parents and were given custom-made wooden lacrosse shafts from head coach Jason Morales and custom banners.

Lakewood Ranch takes on the Manatee Hurricanes 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at Manatee High.

District playoffs are set for next Tuesday where the boys will be against the 16-1 Cardinal Mooney Cougars.
