Mustangs continue on to lacrosse playoffs

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Lakewood Ranch boys lacrosse team beat the Venice Indians in an away non-district game Tuesday night 12-1. Lakewood Ranch has a record of 8-3 this season.

“[LRHS’ goalie Peyton Mullin] really stepped up tonight letting in only one goal.” said senior midfielder Cameron Noel.

MaxPreps currently has the boys ranked 42nd in the state.

The Mustangs were defeated by Out of Door Academy, 5-12 in an away district matchup game on March 22.

“It was a tough loss,” said junior midfielder Adam Vansant, “The outcome hurt our playoff standings.”

The Mustangs are the fourth seed for the District 17 playoffs.

The Mustangs faceoff against St. Pete high school 7:30 tonight at home in a non-district matchup.
