NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS indoor percussion took back their winning streak after competing at the Seminole High School Regional Competition on Saturday.

They placed first place with a score of 81, which was a comeback from their placement two weeks ago at the Oviedo High School Competition. Senior Ted Robinson is happy they are back on top and ready to push even further for finals.

“Practicing mentally and physically every day at practice will give us the confidence to go out there and perform to the best of our ability,” said Robinson.

The group is hoping for first place for LRHS’s first indoor percussion season ever. Junior Wadson Georges is ready for the challenge.

“I think we have a shot at placing first, because we have been practicing hard and all we have to perform what is given to us,” Georges said.

The group will be travelling on March 30 to Daytona Beach Ocean Center for their final competition of the season. Indoor percussion will be hoping for a strong finish this season as it is drawing to a close.
