Mustangs can look forward to mock Golden Herald interviews

Christian Marrero – Mustangs Ahead

NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Mustangs Golden Herald applications were submitted to Manatee Memorial Hospital, the program’s sponsor, on Friday, Feb. 22.

Now each application will be read by a panel of three judges and be evaluated before the formal interviews start on Saturday, April 6. During the interviews, each student will have 10-minutes with a panel of three judges. Afterwards, there will be more time for the students to talk to the judges.

Their judges will fill out a rating sheet, offering the seniors suggestions on how to improve their performance during the actual interviews that weekend.

Prior to the real interviews, Candice Delazzer will hold practice interviews for the students on April 4. These mock interviews are intended to give the Mustangs a chance to practice and learn where they can improve.

After the real interview, the judges will make their selections for the Golden Herald winners and the honorable mention winners, which will be announced at the ceremony on May 1.

The ceremony will be held at Neel Auditorium on the State College Florida – Manatee/Sarasota (SCF) campus and will be open to the public.
