(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) –  LRHS will hosting its first Spring Carnival from noon to 6 p.m. on March 16 in the school’s bus loop.

The carnival is open for all ages and will have games, food, and activities. Since this is LRHS’s 20th anniversary, it also serves as a chance for the students and staff to celebrate their school with the rest of the community.

Many school clubs will participate and will have their own designated booths where they can host fun games for the carnival-goers. The games will be paid for in tickets and all proceeds will go towards the clubs offered at the school.

Junior and president of Future Health Professionals (HOSA) Anneliese Pruim said, “HOSA is planning on having a game of life size operation. We are super excited for the carnival and think it’ll be fun!”

There will also be performances from some of the different classes and clubs around school.

The carnival idea was proposed by LRHS National Honor Society (NHS) and planned by the presidents of each club on campus. Pruim said, “The planning was definitely long, but that was expected for such a big event. I think that we all worked well together, which made planning easier.”

Admissions to the Spring Carnival will be free.
