Csenge Csicsek and Corinna Lunsford – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Family Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is having an “FCCLA Week” this week.

Monday’s theme was to be spirited. The purpose was for members to show their spirit for their club and post on social media.

Tuesday’s theme was to be confident. Members were encouraged to share their stories of how FCCLA has helped them be confident and given them chances to improve themselves.

Wednesday’s theme was to be prepared. Members could share how the career building pathways through FCCLA had helped them grow and prepare for their future.

Thursday’s theme is to be a friend. Members could share how FCCLA had given them a chance to be a friend with other members and students.

Friday’s theme is to be you in red. This day is to show spirit around campus by wearing red for FCCLA. It is also a day for members to support each other and the differences between them.

LRHS Chapter President, junior Morgan Kirchman said, “I’ve been looking forward to FCCLA week for a while now, so I am super excited that it is here. I love seeing everyone together and show their spirit. Being a state officer, I usually have more spirit and a greater love for FCCLA, but this year members have really come through and have shown their love for FCCLA!”

Secretary sophomore Emma Tulio said, “This club has been such a great way to meet new people and has given me a chance to make some great friends. The officers this year have worked really hard to make this week fun for everyone not only members.”
