(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On Saturday, Feb. 2, the LRHS Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) Orienteering Team competed in the North Port Orienteering Meet at North Port High School, their third race of the season. They placed first in the Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced courses, as well as taking first place overall.

The team, overall, earned more medals at this meet than any other this season.

The team raced against 13 other schools and over 210 competitors.

The team’s next race is on Saturday, Feb. 16, at T. Mabry Carlton Preserve.

  • Intermediate Female:

    • third: D’Nasha Washington
  • Advanced Male:
    • third: Ethan Nicholls
