NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – A local event is getting “bullish” on helping local youth.

On Feb. 1 and 2 the Conley Invitational Bull Riding event will take place at the Manatee County Fairgrounds. The family friendly event will donate proceeds to 4H, FFA Chapters, and local schools.

Tickets are on sale up until the day of the show, general admission is $15 with reserved admission being $25. Day of ticket prices increase by $10, attendees can also purchase multiday tickets starting at $30 with children under 7 costing only $10.

Schools will receive $1 for every ticket sold at the event so Mustangs who want to help must make sure to enter LRHS’s specific school code (LRHS) at checkout for school benefits.

The Conley Invitational is presented by Artic Air Service and will return later in the year as the finale for the premier bull riding tour. The show will also include acts from rodeo clown, pyrotechnics, food and vendors.

LRHS junior Kelly Walker described her excitement, “I can’t wait to be able to compete next month; it’s one of my favorite events I look forward to each and every year. I always have such a fun time, not only being able to compete but also to see the other events going on and hanging out with friends. It’s even better to hear that they are going to be donating money because it helps our FFA program.”
