(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The 2019 Super Bowl is this Sunday.  The New England Patriots will take on  the Los Angeles Rams for the NFL title.

The Super Bowl is treated as a sort-of holiday in America, with parties, family gatherings, and a lot of craziness throughout the day.

Even if someone rarely watches football, they will most likely watch the Super Bowl. Junior Emma Anthony said, “I don’t usually watch the football but when it comes to the Super Bowl my family and I never miss it. For me personally, my favorite part about it is the commercials.”

If families aren’t watching it at home with their relatives and extended family, a lot of people tend to go to Super Bowl parties. Super Bowl parties are popular for the good food, games, and some friendly competition between fans.

Sophomore Ella Grogan said, “My family hosts a Super Bowl party every year. I love hosting because it brings all of my family and friends together to watch the game.”

This year the Super Bowl could be one to remember. The Patriots’ quarterback, Tom Brady is going for his sixth Super Bowl ring while the Rams are trying to win for the first time since 2000.
