(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – With the NCAA Football season coming to an end last week, football fans are ready to focus on the NFL Playoffs.
Junior Nico Hadad said, “I was really hoping Clemson could beat Alabama again, so I was glad to see them come out strong, but I was hoping to see somewhat of a better game. I expect to see better games in the NFL.”
After Clemson defeated Alabama 44-16, many hope to see more competitive games in the NFL. Three of the four wild card games were decided by fewer than six points.
Senior Aaron Washington said, “I am a big Baltimore Ravens fan, so I was a little disappointed when the lost to the Chargers. I thought they had a great season and could have made a push for the Super Bowl. Since my favorite team is out, I hope the (Kansas City) Chiefs can win it all.”
Fellow senior Bryce Larkin has been a New Orleans Saints fan since the day he was born. “To me, Drew Brees is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time,” Larkin claimed. “I think the Saints will be holding the Lombardi Trophy come February.”
According to the so-called experts, the Saints have the best odds to win the Super Bowl, followed by the Chiefs, the Patriots, and the Rams.
The Rams and Saints will face off at 3:05 p.m. in New Orleans in the NFC Championship game, and the Patriots will head to Kansas City to play the Chiefs at 6:40 p.m. in the AFC Championship game.
