(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)  – Friday night the LRHS  girls soccer team  celebrates their senior night game 8 p.m. at home.

The team will play Sebring High School, and players are excited to spend the night celebrating and saying goodbye to the seniors.

The seven seniors on the team are Brenna Rademaker, Diana Sanchez, Hajar Benjoud, Lindsey Benedetto, Rheana White, Anna Thomas, and Madison Aker.

The seniors came into school together this morning and were greeted by one of their team members, junior Josie Curtis who brought in a box of donuts to start off the celebrations.

After school the seniors are going out to a pre-game meal at Carrabba’s Italian Grill and are then driving to the field together where the underclassmen wait for them with posters for each senior.

The senior ceremony will be at halftime as each senior will walk the field with their families, and the announcer will recite the brief speech each senior had prepared about herself and her future.

Aker said, “My favorite thing about the season is being able to spend time and play with the people I love. This was a great way to end high school.”

Thomas said, “I loved getting to hang-out with people every day who I get to laugh and play with.”

Benjoud said, “My favorite thing about this season was making memories with the people closest in my heart on and off the field.”
