NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Winter Break is over, after providing many LRHS students and teachers time to visit family and enjoy their breaks.

Senior Dylan Wellard spent most of his break playing basketball for the LRHS team.

“We traveled to Ocala, Florida and New Orleans, Louisiana,” Wellard added. “We played against some of the best teams all over the nation and one of the most memorable moments was getting to see Bourbon Street.”

LRHS English teacher Michael Wood also spent the break visiting family and even getting a dumpster for Christmas.

“I have been wanting a dumpster for some time now and my wife surprised me with one on our doorstep with a big red bow Christmas morning,” Wood explained. “We did a bunch of home improvements and were able to clean up the house. I was also able to attend a lovely wedding in Miami.”

Senior Bryce Nichols spent his break working on his passion, music. Nichols visited his father and old friends in Cleveland, Ohio where he was able to spend time in a studio.

“One of my favorite moments was New Years,” he said. “I got to spend time with my old friends and catch up.”
