(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- One of the best things about LRHS basketball season is its rowdy and supportive student fan section.

Last night the boys basketball team beat Sarasota 72-46.  The Mustangs are 5-0 and ranked 16th in the state.

LRHS assistant coach senior Brady Roberts, senior, said, “Because our fans energize the players, which allows us to gain momentum, and that can spark our offense.”

It was Ugly Sweater Night for the Mustangs fans.

Roberts stated how he feels about this season and said, “The season has been going good, but I feel there is a lot of room for improvement.”

The Mustangs next game is scheduled for Dec. 22 against Jacksonville Bishop Snyder.  After that they head to the prestigious City of Palms tournament.
