(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Last week LRHS’s agriculture classes cleaned up the garden areas near the front entrance of the school in a campus pride project.

The horticulture and agriculture tech classes worked together to replant the flower beds and put new mulch down.

The classes spent a full period doing the hard labor; pulling weeds, replanting the beds, and cleaning up. Then, spent another full class period redoing all the mulch. Horticulture is going to upkeep the maintenance, due to all the hard work these students contributed to LRHS.

LRHS assistant principal Jeannie Galindo took special note of the effort, led by agriculture teacher Janyel Smith.

“Special thanks to Janyel and her students for giving some love to the front beds…This says we care,” she said.
