(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS band performed their last show for VIRTUEosity last Thursday during their annual Prism concert.

The concert also included skits and routines created by the marching band, color guard, and jazz bands. This included an Indiana Jones skit, a reenactment of “The Grinch,” and a skit from “Game of Thrones.”

The color guard created weapon, dance, and flag pieces with songs like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “The More You Give.” Color guard captain senior Mackenzie Brielmann was very excited to show parents and friends what they had created.

“I love this time of the year, because the students get to make something with their creativity and show their talents,” Brielmann said.

Senior Ted Robinson is happy with his last performance of VIRTUEosity.

“For me it has made me feel like the work we put in this year paid off, like the last note I played before walking off the stage felt really good!” Robinson said.

LRHS band director Ron Lambert is very proud of his students and what they have put together this year. “This concert caps off the season, while showcasing the students’ talents and creativity,” he said.
