(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Everyone has a gift that they always wanted and dreamed of having. Here at LRHS, students and teachers are after some popular gift ideas.

A lot of electronics are popular in 2018, such as the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Camera and the new Echo Smart Speaker.

According to best products.com, the Jabra Elite Wireless Earbuds are a gift that “will impress everyone on your list in 2018.”

Wireless headphones are among one of the most popular gifts, especially for high school kids. Junior Ellie Wietecha said, “Me and all of my cross-country friends are getting wireless headphones for Christmas, so it is easier to listen to music while running.”

LRHS math teacher Amy Adams said, “My dream gift has always been a Tesla, I obviously would never be able to get such a fancy car though.”

According to Patch.com, teenagers are asking for a lot of gifts for Christmas this year “from ‘Fortnite’ footwear to Bluetooth beanies and moon lamps.”

Anatomy teacher Faust Delazzer shared his dream gift, “If I were to get anything in the world for Christmas, it would be a CD of all the episodes of the Simpson’s from 30 years ago.”

Wishbookweb.com has gift catalogs from many years ago, going all the way back to the 1930s. This shows the history of gifting including the gifts people wanted and how the prices of these gifts have changed over time.
