(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- As the holidays approach, many childhood memories of gifts from the past are flooding back to Mustangs. Many students at LRHS remember toys that they loved from their childhood.

Junior Brooke Martin said that she misses the Wii game system. “I enjoyed playing all the different games and being able to interact with friends,” said Martin.

This was a popular toy choice among students, and many have said that they miss when the Wii was popular. Students especially miss the Wii game Mario Karts.

Junior Rachel Monroe said that she misses Polly Pockets. “I always used to play with these toys with friends and it’s a great memory of mine,” she stated.

“The toy I miss most from my childhood would be Bratz Dolls because they were fun to collect and play with friends,” explained junior Julia Hatton. Many girls have said that they miss these dolls.

Others have said that they miss toys such as Pokémon, American Girl Dolls, and Webkinz as well.
