(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Mustangs for Kids (MFK) is selling candy cane grams during all lunches for one dollar through Dec. 12.

The candy cane grams can be sent to anyone in the school, including students, teachers, custodians, or cafeteria workers. The candy is sent with a pre-written message and will be delivered during their first or seventh period.

All proceeds from the candy cane grams will go to Shriner’s Childrens Hospital. Shriner’s will use the money to pay for all the care for the children.

Later this year, MFK will also be hosting its annual Dance Marathon from 5-10 p.m. on Jan. 26 in the cafeteria. They are doing this in hopes of achieving their goal of raising $10,000 for the hospital. So far, the club has already raised $3,000.

Sponsorship Director, senior Jules Catena said, “We urge Mustangs to join us at our annual dance marathon on January 26. Proceeds directly benefit the families so they won’t have to pay for their child’s care.”
