Rachel Monroe – Mustangs Ahead

Sports(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Coming off a successful season last year, the girls will kick off their season with a preseason game at home on Tuesday, Nov. 13 against the Venice Indians. Junior varsity (JV) will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and varsity will begin at 7:30 p.m.

the LRHS girls’ soccer team is looking to go all the way to states this year. Last year the varsity soccer team lost in the 5A regional quarterfinals to Palm Harbor University by a score of 0-1.

Senior Brenna Rademaker is looking forward to her senior year playing soccer for the Ranch, “The team has so much potential this year and I’m so excited to see how far we will make it. The past three years I have made so many memories and built countless friendships, I can’t wait to do the same this season.”

Friday and Saturday the girls’ varsity soccer team will travel to Venice to play in the Venice Invitational. The Mustangs will play at 6 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday.
