Seniors icon(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Last week, LRHS seniors in economics and U.S. government classes got the chance to experience what the “real world” is like.

At the “Big Bank Theory” event, each student was assigned a “life” and they had to budget their money accordingly.

Mustangs were able to learn about the basics of money management and other things like buying food and other essentials. The students were also able to experience what having to pay for children is like, and how expensive they are.

College and career advisor Michelle Todoroff organized the event. She said, “The kids there seemed like they really enjoyed it, and the event itself was a big success.”

Todoroff is planning to do this same event next year for the seniors in economics and government classes.
