clubs(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The annual LRHS “Project Daughtery” service event will apparently need a new name.  That’s because it won’t be at Daughtery Elementary this year.

Project Daughtery is an annual event hosted by Lakewood Leaders that takes place at Daughtery Elementary. Lakewood Leaders members traveled there to put on a play for the kindergarteners and distribute toys, as well socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc., for the kids.

After numerous attempts by both the Officers of Lakewood Leaders, Lakewood Leaders Adviser Meghan Sugalski, and LRHS Administration, it will not be taking place at Daughtery Elementary.

Lakewood Leaders is now in contact with Manatee Elementary about hosting their annual Christmas project there.

The date is not yet determined but it should be in early December.

Lakewood Leaders is looking for new name to call the event this year. Anyone with constructive suggestions can contact Sugalski in room 587.

Lakewood Leaders will reach out to Daughtery about the possibility of a similar Spring event.
