Madison Aker– Mustangs Ahead

Seniors icon(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- As many LRHS seniors know, Nov. 1 marks the deadline for early admission for most colleges, while some may be even earlier.

For applications, schools require transcripts and test scores, including the Scholastic Aptitude Test and American College Testing (ACT) assessment.

Students can also apply to schools a variety of ways, such as through the “Coalition,” “Common App,” or the schools’ websites.

For Mustangs who need transcripts, request forms can be found in the LRHS office. The transfer fee is $3.00 each and must be paid at the time of the request.

LRHS senior Mikaela Campbell has been preparing for the deadline.

“I have visited two colleges of my interest and learned more about what they have to offer in person,” she said. “I have also applied for Bright Futures, as well as submitted one of my college applications.”
