Morgan DeGlopper – Mustangs Ahead

NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- For the second year in a row, the state department of education recognized LRHS as a School of Excellence.

This designation is a part of the School of Excellence recognition program, which was created last year by the 2017 Florida Legislature.

In order to qualify, LRHS had to receive a school grade of an “A” or “B” in the three most recent school years and rank in the top 80 percentile for two out of the last three years.

For the second year in a row, LRHS was the only high school in Manatee County to receive this designation and Principal Craig Little is proud of his students’ hard work.

“Congratulations and keep up the great work!” Little said.
