Seniors will learn real life skills at “Big Bank Theory”

Seniors icon(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Next week, LRHS college and career advisor Michelle Todoroff will host an activity called “Big Bank Theory” for all seniors in economics and government classes.

“Big Bank Theory” is a simulated life scenario where everyone gets their own card with their “person” on it. Each card lists the person’s occupation, salary, age, and other aspects of their lives.

Students will try to thrive using the lessons learned in their economic and government classes.

Todoroff said that this event gets seniors prepared for what they will have to do to survive on their own in the real world, and it shows them how expensive everything is.

“It is a very important thing for students to learn and understand especially when they will be going to college very soon,” she said.

This event is happening Tuesday and Wednesday in the gym and it is only for seniors in economics and government classes.
