(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- From 5-9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 22 the LRHS chorus students will hold a fundraiser at Burgerfi, 257 N Cattlemen Road in Sarasota.

The fundraiser is to raise money for the chorus students, so they can go to Tennessee to sing at the Smoky Mountain Music Festival in Gatlinburg from April 24-28.

LRHS chorus director Giselle Panagiotakis said she hopes to raise at least a quarter of the needed funds at this trip. The trip will cost around $700 per student.

On top of this fundraiser, the program has also been collecting money through Snap Raise. So far, they have raised around $11,500.
