Senior fulfill Homecoming auction duties

Madison Aker- Mustangs Ahead

NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS Homecoming Spirit Week was last month, but one activity is still ongoing. One homecoming tradition is the annual senior auction, where underclassmen can “buy” a senior of their choice for a day.

Today, those seniors had to pay up.

Senior Matt Gelorme was Maddie Koczesut’s “prisoner.”

“I carried her stuff around all day and from class to class,” explained Gelorme.

A total of 12 seniors participated in the senior auction.

Senior Cole McLellan was Ella Broussard’s servant.

“I brought her Dunkin’ Donuts and brownies this morning and carried her stuff to classes as well,” said McLellan.

Junior Christian Perez was the “police” to “prisoner” senior Brady Roberts.

“I locked Brady up and he brought me food, cookies, and a drink” stated Perez.

All the proceeds for the bid went to help pay for Homecoming week, including decorations and snacks.
