Sports(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS boys basketball team held a fundraiser to help fund the upcoming season. The fundraiser consisted of shooting free throws and getting money for each one made.

Coach Jeremy Schiller commented, “I thought it was really good, anytime you get 40 guys to come in and try to help the basketball program is pretty cool and I think everybody had a good time.”

They have been doing this fundraiser since Schiller came to LRHS.

The money raised during this event will used for travel costs, as the team will travel more than the average school, including to New Orleans.

LRHS senior Logan Higgins made the most free throws and said, “it was a fun experience and it was a success.”
