Corinna Lunford – Mustangs Ahead

career shadow booklet(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS is working to help seniors starting to think about their futures and possible careers. All seniors are required to complete a career shadowing project before Nov. 13 to graduate.

LRHS college and career counselor Michelle Todoroff hosted seminars for seniors every class period Monday.

Senior Regan Shepps attended one of today’s seminars and was super excited for this project.

“I’m really excited to career shadow and explore the field that I want to work in,” she said.

Senior Youselande Simon said, “I think the shadowing project is very helpful for any career you are interested in and Ms. [Michelle] Todoroff presented the project very well and was very clear on what we should do.”

Todoroff encouraged seniors to take this project seriously, as it can help them figure out what they want to do in the future. Also, she urged them to not leave this project until last minute.  It can take time to plan a day to go and shadow someone.
