Senior running back Drake Theriot filled the spot by starting at quarterback against the Indians. The Mustangs often ran the ball due to injuries.

Senior running back Kieran Connolly said, “We really need to work on ball security, that’s one of our biggest issues right now.”

The Mustangs’ next game is at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 away against Springstead.
