Academics(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Registration for PSATs is open now, and here’s some useful information for those wanting to test.

“They’ll need to go to the Guidance Office and see guidance clerk Sara Klene, register, pay the $20 fee, and pick up a study guide,” said LRHS testing coordinator Jeffery Simmons, referring to the registration for freshmen and juniors.

Any sophomore not wanting to participate must fill out and return a letter to guidance.

“This is an opportunity for students and parents to gain information regarding a student’s potential success meeting college readiness benchmarks and university admission criteria based on a nationally normed test.  This is an optional test and is not a graduation requirement,” explained LRHS Principal Craig Little.

The deadline for registration is on Tuesday, Sept. 11. The test itself will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 10 for ninth and 11th graders.
