(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The end of summer is near and that means it’s time for new Mustangs to start preparing for the upcoming 2018-19 school year.
New student orientation is set to take place at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Aug. 9 in the auditorium. Since the same material is covered in both sessions, it is only necessary to attend one. All new Mustangs and their families are encouraged to attend since a lot of important information will be covered. Students will not receive their schedules during orientation.
At orientation, students will receive information about the first day of school as well as expectations and requirements for the school year. At the meeting, there will also be information on many of the clubs, sports, and other extracurriculars offered at LRHS.
Principal Craig Little has high hopes for the upcoming school year and cannot wait to welcome all incoming Mustangs and their families.
“I always look forward to greeting our new Mustang families. These orientations are an opportunity for parents and students to learn about all the great things going on at LRHS and how they can participate and contribute. It’s a chance for everyone to learn how to make the most of their high school experiences both in and out of the classroom,” stated Little.
The first day of school is Aug. 13 so stay updated on first day information, such as homerooms, and much more by visiting the LRHS website.
