(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The 2017-18 school year is coming to an end and students are starting to prepare for next year.  The current juniors have many mixed emotions as to what to expect for their senior year of high school.

Sarah Merzak said, “It feels weird coming to the end of junior year and starting a new year just to end high school.”

Madison Aker stated, “I can’t wait for senior year. It will be hard seeing everyone leave at the end, but I am equally as excited to move on and spend the last year with the people I have known since elementary.”

Rachel Weronik said, “I am excited to be a senior for all of the events and to participate in senior activities like painting my senior spot and senior privileges.”

Jordan Brown said, “It’s hard to believe that it’s almost senior year but I’m excited to spend my last year with my friends and to be able to graduate with all of them.”

Izabella Sellmer stated, “It’s crazy that next year will be my senior year. I’m not sure what to expect but I’m excited to be involved and spend my final year with all my friends.”

School records say 581 juniors will be seniors at Lakewood Ranch next year.
