Jenna Hernandez – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Key Club is ending the 2017-18 school year with three events.

  • Gene Witt Mother/Son Night: From 6-8:30 p.m. on May 4 at Gene Witt Elementary School, 200 Rye Rd E, Bradenton FL. This is a Star Wars themed Mother/Son event in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be serving pizza, setting-up board games, and working the projector to play movies.
  • Meals on Wheels: From 8:30-11 a.m. on May 5 at 421 N Lime Ave, Sarasota FL. Volunteers are needed to help sort and pack food for a food bank.
  • Serving Breakfast: 6:40-8:30 a.m. on May 6 at 936 15th Street W, Bradenton FL. Volunteers will be helping the homeless with Downtown Ministries by either cleaning the backroom or serving and taking out hot food at the front counter.

Incoming Key Club President junior Rebekah Merrills said, “I had so much fun this year and I can’t believe all the events we did, I can’t wait for next year.”
