(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The 2018 LRHS yearbook became available to seniors during all lunches on Friday, May 4 so seniors can bring home their high school memories before they graduate.

For many seniors, receiving the yearbook emphasizes the fact that their high school experience is ending. Some seniors have received a yearbook every year and some have received only this one, but no matter how many a person gets they still provide a sense of nostalgia.

For senior Samantha Harris, getting the book brought everything into perspective, “Seeing my friends in the yearbook and seeing all of the things we’ve done over the past year makes it bittersweet.”

Not only is it exciting for seniors but also it’s exciting for yearbook staff. “To go back and be able to see all the seniors react to what you created is very inspiring; it fills you with a sense of accomplishment,” said sophomore Sydney Holzborn.

Yearbooks will be available for underclassmen to pick up starting next week.
