Chris Holmes – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Last Sunday  50 members and parents of the LRHS Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) had a banquet at Valentino’s.

The officers that attended were president Morgan Kirchman, sophomore, president-elect Kaitlyn Wood, freshman, secretary Emma Tullio, freshman, competitive service Yamilette Zamarripa, sophomore, competitive events Cori Lunsford, junior, and public relations Alise Mirikitani, freshman.  Also in attendance were chapter adviser Elaine Bowling and special guest, Braden River Middle School chapter advisor Jill Bergeron.

“The food was delicious, and I also really enjoyed how the parents came out to support their kids,” said Bowling.

Senior Skylee Miller said, “I love how all the new officers are already acting like a family.”

Attendees said the family atmosphere the members felt was very strong, and everyone had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the food.
