(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The 2018-19 season for the LRHS Marching Mustangs is already here after the show theme was revealed Tuesday night.

The show is titled “VIRTUEosity,” which means great skill in music or other artistic pursuits. The show will also include classical music by Paganini and Rachmaninoff, pianists, and the colors burgundy and gold.

LRHS band director Ron Lambert is very excited for the coming season and is determined to make next year the greatest year yet. “I want the music to be the story narrative and the theatrical part to show off our technique and skill,” said Lambert.

The storyline is about a girl trying to become a master pianist. Mustang musicians are excited for the new theme and are ready to start working. Color guard captain Mackenzie Brielmann, junior, is ready to push the guard more than ever before.

“I am looking forward to working hard this season and helping to make the guard the strongest it has the potential to be,” said Brielmann.
