(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – There will be a girl’s flag football game for the junior varsity team against East Bay High School Monday.  The game will start at 6 p.m. and take place at East Bay’s field.

“Junior varsity has had a rough season but will continue to push through and finish strong,” said coach Elijah Weaver.

Tonight’s game will be the last game for the JV season.

For the Mustang’s varsity team, the district championship game will take place this week. As of right now, the Mustangs hold the title of first place in the “South” school division and will face the “North” division winner.

Dates and times have not yet been determined.

Senior Mckenzie Mazzella said, “In order to have made it into the championship we had to defeat either Manatee or Braden River, which we did. I look forward to playing my last game with a chance to win it all.”
