(LAKEWOOD RANCH FL)- Graduation day is a big day.  It means the end of a long road for seniors. Every year, two Mustang seniors are selected to give speeches at graduation.

LRHS senior class adviser Ann Fleury encouraged all interested students to apply.

“This is a great opportunity for students,” said Fleury.  “It’s an honor for seniors to represent their class one last time.”

Speech applications can be picked up from Fleury in room 572. Fleury said all speeches should be around three- to three-and-a-half minutes long and turned in by Monday, April 16 between classes, before, or after school.

Speech try-outs for seniors will be held after school in front of a panel of judges the next day.
