The next day, on March 24, senior Karen Lyvers broke the pole vault school record, previously held by Olivia Ogles, vaulting 12 feet two and one-half inches to win the competition.

In the high jump, sophomore Samantha Van der Sommen finished fifth while senior Harry Barthelemy finished seventh. The throwers also had a strong showing, with senior Morgan Lingle placing sixth in the discus and senior Noah Oxley placing fifth in the shot put.

On the distance side, the 4×800 meter relay team placed sixth overall while junior Johnny Reid placed sixth in the 1600-meter run.

The very next weekend, the Mustangs traveled to Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville from Thursday, March 29 until Saturday, Mar. 31.
