(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- “Black Panther” is one of the biggest hit films of the year.  It’s a movie about a man named T’challa (Chadwick Boseman) who gets revenge on the man who killed his father with the power of the black panther. The black panther is a mystical entity that grants the person strength, speed and agility.

I saw the movie, directed by Ryan Coogler (who also directed “Creed” and “Fruitville Station”), at Royal Palm last Saturday, and let me tell you, IT WAS GREAT. The action-packed movie was filled with the perfect mix of comedy and suspense.

It had many eye openers along with hidden messages about the African American community, and the movie also displayed many diverse cultures.

“It was a great movie that family and friends can watch together,” said senior Ty’ Raiona Roberts.

“I think it was very important for the movie to cater to a wide audience,” said sophomore Angelina Ortiz.

“I enjoyed the movie for the great representation of the diverse African cultures that I wasn’t exposed to before,” said sophomore Zian Mahfuz.

If you’re looking for a movie to see this weekend I recommend this one, especially if you are interested in action-packed comedies that deliver really good messages.
