Mustangs dodge balls, but not volunteer spirit

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Mustangs Monday night dodged and weaved in an effort to help the less fortunate.  The school’s annual dodgeball tournament took place at 6 p.m. in the gym. Numerous student teams participated and money raised was donated to the organization Feeding Empty Little Tummies (FELT).

LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) adviser Heather Kasper said, “It went really well, we had fun and we raised a lot more than last year.”

A total of $650 dollars was donated to the F.E.L.T program.  The entry cost was $5 dollars per player.

The winners of the Dodgeball tournament were the “Dodge Bullets,” which consisted of freshmen Dallas Rodriguez, Ithan Ash, Jake Delgman, Brooke Rypel, Joey Riley, and Kade Reyher.
