(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) –  LRHS HOSA is a club focused on preparing students for the medical field.  A main goal of the club is to expose members to a variety of health professions.

After school on March 14 and March 20 in room 720, representatives from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dentistry and Osteopathic Medicine are coming to educate students on the specifics of those career fields.

Sophomore Nicolette Ngov said, “I am very excited to go to the presentations and learn about Osteopathic medicine and dentistry. Even though I don’t want to go into either of these fields as careers, I would love to learn more about them.”

The presentations should last until 3:15 p.m. and are open for any students to attend.
